Hol Chan Night Dive Tour
More than 80% of marine life in the Caribbean Sea is nocturnal, and this Night Dive Tour of Hol Chan lets you see marine life as you’ve never seen it before.
Due to Hol Chan Marine Reserve’s protected status, what was once a depleted fishing area has now been allowed to re-generate, providing an unparalleled diving/snorkeling experience for visitors and an important refuge for marine life along the northern section of the Belize Barrier Reef.
Over 160 species of fish have been identified at Hol Chan, along with nearly 40 species of corals, 5 sponges, 8 algaes, 2 seagrasses, 3 marine mammals and 3 species of sea turtle.
Because of all of the energetic habitation at the reserve, this trip promises to be an exciting one, with creatures coming in and out of their nocturnal activity, spawning and feeding, as well as the iridescent colors from the glow of your dive light.
This tour is only allowed when the tide is good, so take advantage if you can.
Tanks, weights, belts, and refreshments included. Full head on board most vessels with onshore rest room facilities available. Complimentary pick up and drop off service from most resorts. Minimal fee may apply for secluded properties.
